This duck has quite a brood! Spotted by Henry Williams on one of his daily exercise walks

The recent photograph of the Lower Lake bird island showed it to be in an unusual position next to the main island. It has now been moved back to its usual place to remove any danger of the swans’ nest on the main island being approached, using it as a ‘stepping stone’. Also the underpass has been closed as it is too narrow to allow for social distancing.
Pittville Park on 31 March 2020. a few people are taking their daily exercise but keeping well apart. The floating bird island on the Lower Lake has taken up a new position behind the island but the spring flowers are appearing as normal. Keep well.
